Using ldappasswd changed both the uid=admin password, and directory
manager password?
Can you confirm that using ldapwhoami?
Now all applications integrated wih using CN=directory manger all fail
to connect authroization fail.
I can't encourage you strongly enough to _not_ use cn=directory manager
for applications.
Any idea ? should i also change the directory manager password also ?

Any command annd ref can use ?
