Dear all:
my server name is server1.def.abc.com <http://server1.def.abc.com> and i ve applied a wild card cert successfully *.abc.com <http://abc.com> .

What did you do to apply it?
What versions of IPA do you run?
Do you see anything in the HTTPD logs?

A error pormpt out after as shown, Any idea ?
can ipa accept wild card *.abc.com <http://abc.com> cert or must be server1.def.abc.com <http://server1.def.abc.com> certifcate.
if i use a *.abc.net <http://abc.net> ...will it same effect?
Does this error have serious side effect onthe ldap?
No.

This error usually shows if something is wrong with SSL connection to the CA. Dropping the cert might have affected the trust chain.

thks
