Follow-up Comment #1:
Current bmc-config provides a very low-level interface to configuring BMC and
produces verbose output. Though BMC returns error code, this is not an
erroneous situation. Those options are simply not supported/implemented,
which is OK (optional features).
bmc-config should report more appropriately as
"This BMC does not support <%OPTION_NAME%> option."
Bala has just completed a high level BMC configuration utility named
"bmc-autoconfig".
