Details:
In ipmi-sensors (and I imagine other tools) if an error occurs after the ipmi
session has been established (i.e. during SDR cache retrieval), the session
should be closed before exiting. Exiting without closing is only ok if the
ipmi session has not been established (i.e. error during get session
challenge).
