Hi I can’t use the ipmi-raw command with the file option because the IPMI raw commands are generated automatically by a program according to the answer of a previous command.

Our assumption was most would script against the FreeIPMI tools (ipmi-sensors, ipmi-raw, ipmi-sel, ipmi-fru, etc.) themselves. Is there a specific reason a shell-like interface is needed?
