i am relatively new to IPMI, and i tried running the sample app
ipmi-sensors on my box, and for some reason it is not detecting the
presence of Drv 2. i tried running an OpenIPMI app that i wrote, and it
successfully detects whether or not the second drive is present or not.
i would much prefer to use freeipmi than openipmi (the event driven
model is far from ideal for what i need to do), but i do need to detect
the hardware correctly, so i hope it is just something i am doing wrong
or some known work around.
i am using freeIPMI 0.65 on a lan connection on intel T5000PAL box.
any help would really be appreciated,
