I found an issue with edge formatting. I'm testing with zoom at 100%. If
you pick sharp linear edges and set edge width to 8, the lines under the
node text are quite thick, as you'd expect, and they extend up into the
text of the node, covering over whatever background color you've chosen
for the node. This can make it difficult to read the node text. When you
zoom in closer, it looks much better, but if you zoom out, by the time
you are at 75%, you can't read the node text at all.
