Hello Yelve,

admittedly, expert settings are basically a new feature. This feature
however differs from the other new features in important aspects:

   1. it makes agreement in FreeMind team more likely, not less. Other
features invite difference in opinion on how exactly they should function
and look like. This feature makes the resolution of differences of opinion
and preference easier. Thus, this feature by my estimation
shortensthe time to final release, instead of making it longer,
   2. it only changes things in an isolated function, with low frequency
   of use,
   3. it has lower chance of introducing new errors, as it is well
isolated from the user interface that is used for most of the time.

It is true that ideally I would have proposed this feature much earlier.
Unfortunately, it came to my mind when I was pondering the testing phase in
more detail, only recently.

Best regards,
Dan
