Hi Guys, Thanks for that Dimitry.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, the black background version was mine, but I can understand the feedback given. Just so that I can gauge the goals of the Freemind logo/splash redevelopment from you the coders perspective I will ask a few questions on this list from time to time to understand peoples feelings. From the discussions here I get the impression the logo and style should be warm rather than my proposal which was bold but stark. 1) Are the colours Orange, and Blue set in stone, or is there is room to develop these? My assumption would be that one of these colours at least should be carried through in any development 2) Is the Freemind brand being pitched as a Professional level package (Ubuntu, Blender logo/brand style), or is it being pitched as a fun family type package (Gimp logo/brand style)? 3) What is the urgency for a new update? 1 month 2 months.... I am assuming that it will co-inside with the 0.9 release. I am checking whether I will miss the boat on this opportunity or not. Cheers guys, I hope you don't mind me jumping on this mailing list to get your thoughts on things.
