Hi,

Ray's proposal of leaving the verb out and adding the check marks to the
menu item looks good to me. Just please consider that some of these menu
items also appear in the map popup menu, so the check marks would have to be
added there too.

In any case, let us head for consistency, both of the new menu items like
Selection Rectangle On/Off and the old menu items like Toggle Toolbar and
Toggle Left Toolbar.
