Graphic Design and Brand Identity is what I have been doing
professionally for a living for over 15 years now. While I may not be a
great programmer, I am very good with design and conveying emotions and
thoughts through symbols. I know my profession.

After reading through all of the comments regarding the logo change to
the light bulb, I saw how the emotions of people were actually connected
to the butterfly already used in freemind. Feeling all of that personal
warmth and connection, I created a clean and free butterfly symbol that
could be used for every piece of marketing and brand identity. I can
create other symbols of course -- but I started with one that people
already made a very positive and creative association with.

I do not simply create logos without thinking through the associated
ephemera, even when I do volunteer work.
