Sorry, I had thought it was one for Chris. Anyhow, I am not sure what we 
should do.

I remember that someone had been working hard on a patch to support 
maths in FreeMind. I think LateX is definitely the standard we should 
adopt. I will see if I can find that patch and accompanying thread.
