Hi, for your information, I'm working on the below point critical for my ability to bring FreeMind into Debian (and other distros). I'll keep you updated as I progress.
Chris, I would appreciate if you could give me an early warning before you release the RC version, so that we get a chance to take a decision before. It would perhaps make sense to use anyway a free and nicer iconset, that would also solve the issue... Perhaps someone with graphical skills could suggest a drop-in replacement for the Sun iconset, he would surely be welcome and this person would possibly get a lot of recognition, see: http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=139 :-^ Eric -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Sun's graphic art for Java Resent-Date: Mon, 8 Sep 2008 15:20:15 +0000 (UTC) Resent-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 08 Sep 2008 17:18:04 +0200 From: Dalibor Topic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Eric Lavarde - Debian <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Eric Lavarde - Debian wrote: > Hi, > > the icons set distributed by Sun under [1] doesn't respond to the DFSG criteria (point ii of the -attached- license doesn't allow for > modifications, as pointed out by my sponsor, in cc), hence a few questions and remarks: > > 1.
