678 records found on a USPTO trademark search of 'plex'.
Plex is by no means unique or 'owned' by Plextor.
"plex" is a combining form noun used in the English
language, the etymology of which is from the Latin word -plex, and
partially from the word complex. One of the meanings is
"a building divided into an often specified number of spaces".
Perfect for virtualization heh? Anyways, it is a highly
(ab)used and diluted word.
We are doing nothing which relates to Plextor technology,
nor dwells in the same domain of usage of any tools they
have that begin with 'plex'.
