Hi there,

I've been following this list since october last year. I then asked
about BeOS support for plex86, and I got the answer "not yet".

Today, I downloaded the latest tarball (plex86-2000_0325d) for fun (ie,
reading source). When unpacking I saw the file configure.beos there! I
was happily surprised, and I thought there was just a tiny bit of hope
that at least one of the kernels would work.

There I went,
$ configure.beos
$ make

But it then halted at all the linux-specific header files.

So, my question is: Why having the file there if it doesn't do any good
anyway?
One solution would be to rewrite it so it'd work with BeOS.. But it's
maybe better just tossing it?

What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
