I'm not quite sure if I understand the question, but...

The VGA hardware emulation handles text and graphics mode,
like a real VGA adapter does.  Output from either mode is
displayed via X11 at the moment, but can be displayed
to other GUIs as well, such as BeOS or Windows when
we get to those ports.

When you say OS support, do you mean host or guest?
