Hello...

My name is John (Jong Hyuk) Choi.
I wanted to participate in the development of freemware
from the start, but lots of assignments at my job have prevented me to
do so.

Recently, I realized that the virtual machine approach may be an
overkill
for most of us - who want to promptly switch multiple operating systems
back and forth,
but not necessarily run those multiple operating systems at the same
time.

So, I came to the idea of multiple hibernation....
- providing multiple storage locations for saving memory and system
image
and multiple hibernation key combinations for switching among them...

Unfortunately ... :), however,
soon I found that this is a patented asset of IBM corp.

Have somebody seen any computer products that have this functionality ?
Otherwise, are there any technical huddles and difficulties against
an efficient and plausible implementation ?
I haven't investigate the IBM patent yet.

Regards,

John (Jong Hyuk) Choi
