I've been reading the flame^H^H^H^H^H adult discussion
on gatewayed clusters. I think that a better solution would be a
false node that works just like a regular Freenet node but when
a request is passed it just waits for a time (depending on how
high the HTL was set) and return a failed status. They should
not show up on inform.php or insert anything ever. Their only
purpase is to slow down a port scan. Run several on your box to
increase your saftey. They could even warn a real node that
someone is port scanning (since no real connections would
come to a psedo-node) and it should lay low.
