Well, sort of.
But if they planted it there without your prior written permission, like by
playing it in a public place, or a supermarket, or in a TV ad, or via the radio
among other content that you were really interested in rather than said song,
then they basically made it available to you unconditionally, and you can do
with it whatever you want.
Like sing it into your computer and offer it via Napster, or sing it to your
girlfriend and then let her again sing it into the 'puter, and so on.
Maybe you should really do that .. I'm deaf, or would usually rather want to be.
