I'm using a .bat file calling Freenet.client.RequestClient (Win2k and
Freenet 0.3.6) with htl set to 50. On unsuccessful requests, I never get an
htl of 50, although as I understand the protocol, I should get an htl
returned of the lesser of 50 or the number of connected nodes. The example
below for freenet.log shows htl of 1 and I get as high as 33 on other
requests. Am I misunderstanding the error message or is there a problem?
