Hmm, FreePMProduct.zexp & EventFolder.zexp will only install in
the Products folder. FreePM.zexp should install anywhere in your
Zope tree. You will break some of the links to menus if it is not
in the Zope root though. Everything else should be okay. In fact
the development version is built inside the tree that holds the
demo. So I know that only the Main Menu links will break.

Unless (and I don't think there is) there is a difference between
using a MS OS and *nix it should not matter. FreePM will just
generate errors that it can't find something if it's not there.
You would want to install the required foreign products (those
not part of FreePM) first. Then EventFolder, FreePMProduct and
the FreePM, just to be sure.
If you try again and still have problems (with Zope or FreePM)
please have it documented as far as what steps you performed and
send that information to the list.
