I really understand your point because I've learned RMS to know
on lsm in Bordeaux (hey, while we are at it, where were the FreePM people.
GNUMed (notice the _GNU_ ;-)) and FreeMed attended the conference).
The fact that many people from Debian _GNU_/Linux were able to joke about
GNU/religion gave me a good feeling. Yes, there are other free licenses.
Anyway, I'm not really sure if you can't make money by *supporting*
(should I write GNU/supporting) GPLed software? But it's your decision.
I just wanted to hear opinions because I do put my own software under
GPL just to be sure that no *other* (or NOTGNU/other) could make money
with it. That's my onderstand of the GPL - but it might be wrong.
BSD license in my opinion don't forbid a proprietary M$/FreePM with your
code in it. Quite a bad idea, worse than GNU/religion.
Kind regards and happy weekend
Andreas.
