With this explaination, tell me if FreePM solves that problem.
First this 'given': There is work to be done that only
physicians can do. I'll cover what that 'work' is below.
I contend, from my two-year study of the processes, that
physicians (in a patient encounter) go from:
observations/ideas/analysis(of test
results)/diagnosis/procedures/plan to codes. Where codes are
ONLY because they want to get paid. They (codes) have nothing to
do with practicing medicine. They are what provides you the means
you to continue. <g>
First of all, FreePM is not a 'web-thing', it's interface uses a
web browser for cross platform capability.
There are (for a fee) services that we will provide that does use
the web. Otherwise it's a client/server app with a browser
client, there will also be a GUI client later this year.
The incentive is fast, concise, coded, standardized & readable
patient notes, reduced operational costs (the list of things that
go with paperless operation) and data analysis that I do not
believe any other EMR provides for less than $100K, if at all.
