I've installed Freeradius 0.2 yesterday, and it worked
GREAT! But I'm having a problem. Let's explain my setup:
Radius Server 1: Master Radius server, running Cistron
1.6.4. It proxies most of its requests to other radius
servers.
Radius Server 2: The Radius server that answers requests
proxied from Server 1, to the domain xyz.com.br (using the
nostrip option). It's running Freeradius 0.2.
According to (my understanding of) documentation, if I just
put the following in proxy.conf (*without* the nostrip
option, as you can see), it should log only the username on
radutmp.
realm xyz.com.br {
type = radius
authhost = LOCAL
accthost = LOCAL
secret = testing123
}
But it doesn't work, it logs the full username, including
the realm (at least using radwho and radlast). How can I
get rid of this ?! Changing configurations on Server 1 is
not an option (I have no access to the server now)
