No. FreeRADIUS supports up to 253 characters in the user name,
because that's the limit of the RADIUS protocol.
Hmmm... the 'unix' module has a hard-coded limit of 20 characters
for the user name, when it caches /etc/passwd. That doesn't make
sense.
Grab the latest source from CVS, and rebuild it. I've just fixed
rlm_unix.
