Hello,

I use freeradius-0.2 and I see that sometimes it terminates. I wrote to the
list some time ago about this problem. Last time I was advised to look for
core dumps and to extract some information from them with gdb. But I
couldn't find any core dumps in the filesystem.

Also I saw in the source some code to disable core dumps. How can I enable
them for debug purposes?

Today I found "radius@myhost not responding" message in the log of NAS. I
looked in radius.log and saw "info: MASTER: exit." there. Then I went to
freeradius source. This line is printed to the log from void sig_fatal(int
sig) (main/radiusd.c) when sig==SIGTERM.

But I don't know who and why was sending SIGTERM to radiusd. How can I find
who was sending this signal or it's impossible?

I used freeradius-snapshot-20010725, it's some days before 0.2 was released.
Today I upgraded to the latest snapshot but I'm not sure if this strange
behavoiur was fixed. So could anybody tell me what to do if radiusd dies
again?

With best regards, Andrew
