Hi All, I am currently using cistron radius, and am aware that there is not much development happening on that project at the moment.
I have ascend MAX 4000, 6000 access servers. We supply Virtual Ports to ISP's and service our customers with our dialin pool. Currently we do not have any port management in place which is causing grief :( I am led to understand that there is a packet sent to RADIUS when a call is coming in from the PRI's to the max, a request for call acceptance is sent to radius to allow the max to answer based on the Calling Line ID number. Calling an external script to do a radwho, or an appropriate port query based on realm we could then, allow the call to be answered by the max, or Return Busy to the max. Does anyone on this list know how (preferably with examples) or where I can find some doc on how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
