Thanks for your sugestion. I don't think failover will do because let's say
I log in as [EMAIL PROTECTED] if I have user [EMAIL PROTECTED] and user [EMAIL PROTECTED],
authorize will search through ldap_isp1 and find user foo therefore it will
never make it to the isp2 ldap server. I can not change the ldap schema and
can not use the realm on the search.
Any other good ideas anyone?

As far as I understood, will grouping do what you want
failover {
ldap_isp1
ldap_isp2
ldap_isp3
}
