I have recently CVS updated to the latest release of freeradius and am successfully using the updated MS-Chap module to authenticate pptp clients through a Cisco 2621 router. However I do have 2 questions for anyone using a similar setup.
First off, are there plans to implement the MSCHAP-MPPE-Keys attribute into the MS-Chap module included with freeradius, in order to support encryption? And if not, or not in the immediate future, does anyone know of a way to have the radius server handle only the authentication and then use the router to handle the mppe encryption? I apologize if this is too off track for this list, but I'm interested in getting this setup finalized.
