PPPoE on a LAN? Boy, are your users going to hate you for a) the overhead (it's going to be sloooow) b) the instability (PPPoE clients on every PC) c) the incompatibility (lots of LAN stuff isn't going to work anymore, probably filesharing) and d) the cost. You will need a box to terminate the PPPoE sessions, like a RedBack SMS500 or something. An 1800 would be better, you need the speed on a LAN.
