There's no problem including this patched libradius.h in your C or C++ source, then linking with original libradius.a Parameter name doesn't matter. It just have to be the same length and at the same offset in the value_pair struct. My intention was just to provide a patch in order for anyone to link with libradius.a However, one must provide another patch for the whole freeradius distribution to compile, you're right.
