sorry if this Question maybe was asked a hunderd times before :
I can`t find nothing about it in the user file nor in the FAQ nor in the web
Mailing List index.
Is it possible to authenticate my dialin pap users agains the system
/etc/passwd /etc/shadow. All users have valid accounts ! I mean I could use ist for
login, why not for PAP? ( I understand why it doesn`t work for chap, but in
my opinion it should work )
My config looks like :
foo Auth-Type := System
Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-IP-Address = 10.0.2.150
with local cleartext passwords all worked fine, but with System :-(

PS : Will it work if I use Plugable Authentication Modules ??? If so, how
does it work ???
