radiusreport is exactly what you need then. If you have one master detail accounting file then just process that. If you have multiple you may need to combine them all together for it to work.
Here is the syntax you probably want to use with radiusreport to get what you need. radiusreport -tbas -l all -f /var/log/radacct/tsip/detail -o /var/log/usage/users ^^ what that will do is generate reports which look like the one I included below in individual filenames per userid in /var/log/usage/users. If all you want is a simple sheet of username and their total time then just do this after you run the command above cd /var/log/usage/users/ grep "Total Hours" * that will give you something like: user1:Total Hours: 10h45m user2:Total Hours: 13h42m Hope that works for ya. --- example --- Radius Log Report for: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date Login Logout Ontime Port Baud BandWt-In/Out Total ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01/02/2002 07:45:34 09:06:33 80m59s A34 260.9K/2.0M 1h20m 01/02/2002 10:05:29 10:16:09 10m40s A15 100.1K/501.4K 1h31m 01/02/2002 10:17:01 10:37:52 20m51s A10 124.6K/1.1M 1h52m 01/06/2002 10:59:42 11:01:30 1m48s A30 2.1K/1.3K 1h54m 01/07/2002 09:39:27 11:41:26 121m59s A2 397.5K/2.2M 3h56m 01/07/2002 19:44:29 19:51:01 6m32s A1 16.5K/12.1K 4h02m 01/08/2002 07:10:42 09:41:37 150m55s A22 1.0M/8.4M 6h33m 01/08/2002 09:59:32 10:05:21 5m49s A41 3.0K/10.0K 6h39m 01/08/2002 12:41:52 13:42:24 60m32s A21 173.0K/1.3M 7h40m 01/08/2002 16:37:02 17:00:52 23m50s A29 318.8K/1.6M 8h03m 01/10/2002 09:04:35 09:13:22 8m47s A46 13.2K/11.5K 8h12m 01/10/2002 13:10:21 13:15:39 5m18s A43 2.7K/0.1K 8h18m 01/10/2002 13:16:31 13:17:00 0m29s A1 1.3K/0.1K 8h18m 01/10/2002 13:21:47 13:22:15 0m28s A4 1.3K/0.1K 8h18m 01/10/2002 15:34:16 15:34:45 0m29s A3 1.4K/0.1K 8h19m 01/11/2002 07:29:26 08:29:03 59m37s A16 325.7K/2.2M 9h19m 01/11/2002 11:58:48 12:33:37 34m49s A24 159.1K/1.1M 9h53m 01/12/2002 09:09:27 09:11:37 2m10s A40 38.9K/41.8K 9h56m 01/12/2002 09:17:47 10:06:10 48m23s A27 259.3K/2.2M 10h44m 01/13/2002 12:11:51 12:18:48 6m57s A47 209.1K/709.7K 10h51m 01/14/2002 06:50:13 08:33:00 102m47s A8 943.1K/1.3M 12h34m 01/15/2002 12:33:13 13:22:10 48m57s A2 333.1K/2.0M 13h23m 01/15/2002 15:19:03 15:38:46 19m43s A34 86.9K/290.1K 13h42m ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Total Hours: 13h42m Average Online times: 1h01m per day, 7h12m per week Total Data transferred In/Out: 4.7M/27.5M At 05:32 AM 1/16/2002 -0500, you wrote: >just usage data total hours >username total hours this month > >Nathan Miller wrote: > > > if you'd provide a little detail as to what your looking for I'd be happy > > to help you out. > > > > "monthly reports" is kinda vague.
