Once again, thank you.  Hopefully the last question.  I was able to 
successfully change an incoming "realmless" username into one with a realm, 
and successfully proxy to a different server.  To do this, I placed my 
attr_rewrite function call after the "preprocess" call in the authorize 
function.

However, once I've changed the User-Name and the packet gets proxyed, the 
catch 22 is that attributes in the local users file are obviously 
ignored.   is there any way to tack on an attribute in the reply message 
back to the client?  Ie; username mikeh gets changed to mdhare@WISC, but 
I'd like to pass back specific attributes to "mikeh" user, preferably from 
the local server.
