Alan et al; Once again, thank you. Hopefully the last question. I was able to successfully change an incoming "realmless" username into one with a realm, and successfully proxy to a different server. To do this, I placed my attr_rewrite function call after the "preprocess" call in the authorize function.
However, once I've changed the User-Name and the packet gets proxyed, the catch 22 is that attributes in the local users file are obviously ignored. is there any way to tack on an attribute in the reply message back to the client? Ie; username mikeh gets changed to mdhare@WISC, but I'd like to pass back specific attributes to "mikeh" user, preferably from the local server. -Michael At 11:53 AM 1/17/2002 -0500, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >Michael Hare <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >v> Do I need to do anything special besides defining a rewrite function in > > radiusd.conf to get this to work? > > Yes... you've got to tell it WHEN to do the rewrite. > > That is, add the module to the 'authorize' section, probably. > > Alan DeKok. > >- >List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
