Greetings,

I have been having problems recently with accounting entries being
entered as many as 8 times for the same login.

We have two radius servers, each running freeradius 0.4. They are both
set to log to one mysql server. Only one of these servers generates
multiple accounting entries, though. It does have two addresses bound
to it's ethernet interface, but I have freeradius bound to only one of
these (ie. bind_address = 192.168.0.1)

We have our own local access server, and do some out-sourcing for some
other areas. This problem only occurs for users logging in from our
outsourced access servers...never for the local one. I have tinkered
with the cleanup_delay (tried everything from 2 through 15) which only
made the problem worse in most cases.

The duplicated entries only differ by the acctstartdelay. Everything
else is identical.

I recently upgraded from 0.2 to 0.4 in hopes that it would cure the
problem, but it has not.

Does anyone have an ideas? I put the server into debug mode (radiusd
-X) and watched this happen, but I don't see anything that looks wrong.

Thanks,
Ron Chinn
