You can't use OpenLDAP 1. I had many many problems using 1.2.11. Upgrading to the current stable release of OpenLDAP 2 (2.0.21) basically solved every single problem I had. There are references within rlm_ldap to a bunch of constants, etc. that do not exist within 1.2.* and even after commenting out the references that I thought were irrelevant I still had tons of problems. >Alan DeKok wrote: > > > aw spada <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > I want to use freeradius with rlm_ldap modeule for > > > authentication only, and mysql for accounting...I want > > > to use netscape LDAP....i need two answer, can i use > > > netscape LDAP with freeradius authentication? > > > > You can use a netscape LDAP server.
