I posted a whole message about this on Friday or Saturday and had no response, after running radiusd/rlm_sql module through gdb and seeing what it actually does, it's starting to make some sense. I'm using freeradius latest CVS snapshot with MySQL.. Forgive my ignorance. I'm a veteran programmer but new to radius.
I have a single entry in radcheck: id = 1, UserName = testuser, Attribute = Password, Value = testpass, op = <blank> All other tables empty. Justing testuser everything is fine. Using [EMAIL PROTECTED] fails. Must there be a realm for stripped-user-name to work properly? I would have thought it would strip everything after and including the @ symbol even without a realm. Thanks, vec - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
