I upgraded to FreeRADIUS this morning ~0300 EST. It appeared to auth
users perfectly fine until ~1154 EST, at which point it just stopped
authenticating users.

I restarted radius and everything started back fine.

After looking through (/var/log/)messages the system ran out of swap
space at ~ the same time as radiusd stopped accepting requests. The box
has 512MB ram and ~800MB swap.

It maintains a fairly low load avg and what load is there is primarily
disk snapshots via rsync:

____SNIP____
$w
  12:40pm up 221 day(s), 21 min(s), 4 users, load average: 0.43,
0.38, 0.38
____SNIP____

The host is running solaris 7:

____SNIP____
$ /usr/local/sbin/radiusd -v
radiusd: FreeRADIUS Version 0.4, for host sparc-sun-solaris2.7, built on
Mar 6 2002 at 00:47:04
____SNIP____

Memory leak?

The radius.log didn't show anything odd. A few dropped duplicate auth
packets...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike
