Hi, I'm using Oracle 8.1.7 on the same machine (Running RedHat 7.2) as Freeradius 0.4 and it's working just fine. You didn't say whether the oracle sql module was successfully loadded and linked on your system? If it doesn't, try doing `ldd lib/rlm_sql_oracle.so`. If there's an error, you need to verify that your oracle env is set up properly and you have `libclntsh.so.8.0` and `libwtc8.so` installed on your oracle libdir.
The only problem I have is that the module seems unable to connect to the oracle during startup (for example, using an rc.radiusd-redhat file or daemontools). But it can be done manually (for example, typing `/bin/sh /etc/rc.d/init.d/radiusd start`) it connects smoothly. anybody can help me out here...? My question: is there any one who has worked on the oracle module in freeradius? I want to know whether the module has been tested with which version of Oracle.
