Got all but CHAP working now. I noticed mschap in the radiusd.conf file
which I uncommented. This is the last thing (other than realms) that I need
to get working.

I have, in the radiusd.conf file:
authorize {
        preprocess
#       counter
#       attr_filter
#       eap
        suffix
        files
        mschap
}

authenticate {
#       pam
        mschap
        unix
        ldap
}

tcpdump.

Make sure you didn't filter the attributes when you enable attr_filter
module. If you disable the module, you shouldn't have the problem.
