When the server forwards a request to another server, it keeps a copy of the request internally. This is so that it can know which NAS is supposed to get the reply. If there is a reply from another server, but FreeRADIUS cannot find the original request, then there is nothing it can do, but drop the reply on the floor. You should find out why FreeRADIUS is discarding the original request. Maybe the proxy is taking too long to answer? Running it in debugging mode will get you log messages saying exactly when, and why, the request is being deleted. Alan DeKok. - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
