I've just downloaded the 0.5 version of FreeRadius and have tried to
build a RedHat RPM under RedHat 7.2 using the spec file included in the
tarball.

I've put the tarball in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES, extracted the specfile
and placed it in /usr/src/redhat/SPECS and then used the commandline
"rpm -bb freeradius.spec" following is the last bit of the build
output...

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.90483 (%prep)

Sorry to say that my expertise with building RPMS from source ends when
things go wrong :-) It appears that this rpm-tmp.xxxxx file is created
on the fly somehow, but in looking at the file after the build fails,
the only command following the last chmod that appears above is an "exit
0"

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what might be going
wrong with the build?

Thanks much!
