An old mysql library (mysqlclient.so.6) was linked with rlm_sql_mysql, when the correct was mysqlclient.so.10, which was present on the same directory of the .6 version. I don't know why it was linked this way, and tried several times to re-compile it, even removing the .6 version, but never worked. I then removed the mysqlclient.so.6 link and linked it again with the mysqlclient.so.10.0.0.0 (or whatever) and now everything is working fine.
