my NAS is USR Netserver 8/16 Plus V.34/I-Modem and I am trying to configure freeradius+Netserver. But I found a problem: Authentication works nomally but accounting not. I use the debug mode to run freeradius. From the debug output, I know the accounting-request packet sent by Netserver have a wrong form. There is a padding(six bytes: '00 00 00 00 00 00') at the end of these packets. The packet length socket received is not equal to the length the packet says. This is abnormal.
Then I add some debugging code into freeradius to see how the accounting-request authenticator is calculated. But I tried many times and failed. I don't know how the accounting-request authenticator is calculated.
I use testing tool to ensure my code is right. everything is ok.
I think the secret is set nomally because Authenticaion works well. Who can explain this?
