Uh... have you *looked* in the rlm_krb5 directory? It has a patch to make the module work with heimdal. It also has a README file, which describes WHY the patch hasn't been integrated into the module. Summary: I *hate* patches that add functionality one person finds useful, and in the process, removes functionality many other people are using already. If you can supply a patch to the rlm_krb5 module to make it work with EITHER of the kerberos distributions, and make it configurable at build time, then it would be added to the server.
