Mr. Falgout,
You will want to make sure that you have an instance of the files or
fastusers module enabled under the Authorize section of radiusd.conf. Just
make sure that the "usersfile" portion of the config section is
${confdir}/users on whichever module you choose to enable. If you don't
want authentication against your passwd/shadow files...then do not enable
the unix module.
