Hi list. I am new to this list so please excuse me if this has been asked before.
I am having some trouble trying to understand how radius encrypts the user password and would like some assistance. I have downloaded the source for free radius but I am not too proficient in C/C++ so I am getting hung up. I am trying to write a simple routine that will communicate with a radius server, however I need to know how to encrypt/decrypt the password. I am writing this in Visual Basic (hold the flames please) and was wondering if anyone might have an example in VB or if someone could just explain in detail the algorithm.
