I'm asking because I'm using the same radiusd.conf on Linux
and FreeBSD and on Linux it started many threads while on
FreeBSD I've only one process running. That got me wondering.
This is the relevant part:
thread pool {
start_servers = 4
max_servers = 16
min_spare_servers = 4
max_spare_servers = 8
max_requests_per_server = 250
}
Just for fun I made sure thread support was compiled in passing
--with-threads=yes to configure and making the binaries. Then I
ran radiusd from the src/main directory and radiusd showed up
as "lt-radiusd" in the process list.
