Subject: Documentation

Hell all,

I've been a lurker on this list for quite a while.
I was before using icradius and some flavor of a standard file based
radius server. Both on linux. Everything works quite fine for me but I
want to upgrade to freeradius because of the possibility to use a
SQL-server for authentication and authorisation.
In fact I installed the freeradius server and I can not get this thing
going. I hate to admit that but I uninstalled it and installed
gnu-radius and it worked after a couple of hours. But I had to uninstall
it again because I can not do CHAP with a database backend with
gnu-radius and my router needs this to get its configuration from the
radius.
I am not entirely dumb but I need something to read about what I am
supposed to do. I understand the sql server section but where is a
definition of all those keywords used in the radiusd.conf.
Can anyone point me to a documentation or a FAQ where I can find the
information I need. The PDF file is not very complete in the moment.

Many thanks in advance

Klaus
