Hi, Reading the RFC and searching through the archived posts I understand this is not possible. In MS-CHAP there is a scheme for authenticator (Radius server) initiated password change, but other than that Radius implementations need a separate interface to change the password: web based or as Alan mentioned in one of
the older posts to the list, the administrator can set the shell to /bin/passwd for that user. I was wondering is this so? Just like MS-CHAP has an option for server initiated password changes, why cant we have a client initiated password change option? The 'modules' in freeradius already support various backend databases which the server can update. Thanks in advance! Regards, Puneet __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
